Secrets Dining on the Deck is a truly special dining experience and winner of the 2019 AGFG People’s Choice Award. Tucked away in the lush rainforest canopy right on the shores of magnificent Lake Baroon, we offer our patrons panoramic views of the water, mountains and rainforest. This intimate connection with nature is enhanced by the incredible food prepared inhouse by our top chef Mat Law and his talented team.
Dining on the Deck has been crafted with all the trademark exquisite carvings and attention to detail that the Johnston family and Secrets on the Lake has become famous for. There is also a beautiful wishing pond that merges with the amazing hand-carved Tree of Dreams in the adjacent Secrets Art Gallery. The gallery is stocked with a wide range of amazing work by local painters, sculptors, wood-carvers, authors and jewellery makers… and you are sure to find something unique as a momento of your visit or stay with us.
Our talented kitchen team produce a delicious range of morning and afternoon tea melt-in-your-mouth sweets, including a large array of gluten free options. Why not get a group together and book for one of our famous champagne or chocolate high teas. We specialise in catering for groups up to 80 people and have some great group packages available. Dining on the Deck is also the stunning night time reception venue for many weddings held at the charming Lakehouse or magnificent Secrets Garden.
Dining on the Deck has a fully licensed bar and is open 6 days a week serving breakfast from 8:30 am during the week and 8am on weekends, delicious lunches from 11am, and until 4pm for an indulgent champers, coffee or cake. Closed Mondays and some public holidays. Bookings are strongly advised, particularly on weekends.
